We (Aaron and Ronda) met at Pacific Lutheran University where we went to school. Aaron graduated with a Sociology major and a Music minor. Ronda graduated with and Elementary Ed. degree with an emphasis in Health and Special Education.  We were a part of a campus ministry together which eventually led to the starting of New Song Church where Aaron worked on staff for 11 years. Our dating years were full of fun and adventure as we spent time hiking, going on long drives, hanging out with friends, running and doing all sorts of crazy and fun things. We got married in 1999…Aaron working as the worship leader for New Song Church and Ronda working as a first grade teacher. Our first years of marriage were full as we helped pioneer New Song Church, which has a powerful ministry of restoration and prayer, with a passionate group of young people that have a desire to change the world for Jesus. In the midst of ministry life we have always found time for our hobbies…camping, running and training for races, eating at Italian restaurants, and anything else that involves the outdoors or having fun.

Our lives changed drastically as we started having children! After the miraculous and perfectly timed birth of our first born, Jacob, we were pleasently surprised to quickly have a precious little girl (Ariel) and then another precious girl (Hailey). We had our three children all within 3 1/2 years from start to finish! Our kids are the highlight of our life! All three of them amazing little people that bring us so much joy!

Our Passion! Is to see young people (and all people) transformed by the love and power of Jesus Christ. We believe the only answer for this world is the message of Jesus…His powerful life changing love that displayed it’s self while he died on the cross for each one of us. Conquering sin and death through His resurrection, he has given us each an opportunity to live for him, giving us a clean start and an eternal security. Not only that, living a life for Jesus, we believe, is the only way to have true joy and hope. The World offers so many “ways,” the bible says “the only way to the Father is through Jesus Christ his son.” We believe that is the truth and that is what we live for.

We are passionate to take this message to the youth across the nations through the arts using powerful music and drama as a tool of transformation. We are standing in faith for a new type of sound that will grab ahold of young people and draw them to the Lord. We are passionate to see music ministry transformed, to see radical young adults raised up to lead in this new sound.

We are passionate to live out Isaiah 61 “to preach good news to the poor…to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners. To comfort all who mourn…to bestow beauty for ashes and the oil of gladness instead of mourning, a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.” We long to do that for the youth…the babes, the children and the young adults across the earth. We believe it is this next generation that will lead and shape the future of our world…so many of them have been neglected, abused and abandoned…they need to be healed and equipped with the truth of the Word of God.

We are passionate that we would function as a ministry team as a family. That our kids would grow up knowing the scriptures and that they would be a powerful ministry team together.
