The Bad News First…then the Good News!

Oh my word. That is all I have to say. Right now I am sitting in the Taipei airport and I’ve been awake for 22 hours. No, I think I slept for 1 hour on our second flight. My day started at 3:30am yesterday morning. Up and at em’, packed and ready to jump into the U of N van to head to the airport…on our way to Thailand and then Cambodia for a 2 month outreach. On this trip I managed to pack all of our stuff into 4 large bags along with 4 carry on bags, one kid’s sized guitar (for Jacob) and one skateboard (for me…ha ha). I purposely took items OUT of the kids carry on bags to ensure they would be light enough for the kids to carry on their own. “Why pack so much for the plane when they have those great little TV sets on the backs of the seats?” Right? …WRONG. Introducing…Team Cambodia

Each week we have been drawing closer as a family! Team Cambodia…and as of today we have enough money to purchase airplane tickets for the entire team! What a miracle! We are leaving on June 27th and heading to Bangkok, where we will spend two weeks prior to traveling to Battambang, Cambodia, where we will spend two months before we fly back to Kona on September 13th.
