Today I am a Student…

Starting today…and for the next 6 months I am officially a student. Not sure what to think…a mix of emotions and memories.  Some good…some not so good. A walk down memory lane…

We were welcomed here at YWAM Perth 6 weeks ago as a branch of our ministry City Central in Tacoma.   We are continuing to build the growing relationship between our ministry at home and the ministry of YWAM. We knew God was sending us here to partner with YWAM in the big picture vision of youth (multitudes of youth)  giving their lives to Jesus and living radically for Him all across the world. A vision we have believed for over 10 years now. After arriving and getting settled, the Lord began to open our eyes to the need for us to really step in and fully immerse ourselves with the culture, teaching, and heart of YWAM. We were asked to consider joining the July DTS (A Discipleship Training School is YWAM’s introductory course.) We were asked to join as Student/Staff so that we could  fully experience a DTS as students while at the same time help in any leadership capacity that is needed. We are thrilled about this experience which will consist of 12 weeks of lecture and 12 weeks of outreach.
